So here we are again and it time for me to share with you my top 3 pics from this week’s amazing selection but before I do I just want to say that this is MY list, of my top 3  images. I pick them because for some reason, which I try to explain, they jump out at me. They might not always be the most technically brilliant images in the list and they definitely might not be your favourites because as I said this is my list but I hope that over the weeks I have shown and continue to show just what a talented bunch you all are and done justice to the huge cross section of different images that make up Sinful Sunday. Oh and one last thing, choosing JUST 3 images is becoming harder and harder as the weeks go on, the number of players increase and quite frankly the creativity and standard of images continues to blossom….

A Penny For Your Dirty Thoughts

I am fairly sure that all sex bloggers and erotic writers and possibly most other writers too can identify with the wonderful joy that is writing naked. I think one of my greatest joys of my job now is that if I want I can spend the say naked in bed and be just as productive, if not more so, as when I get dressed. I love this image because it captured that moment so beautifully. The simple colours and starkness of the surrounds means the focus of your eye is the beautiful girl on the bed.

Down The Rabbit Hole

When I started Sinful Sunday one of the things I encouraged people to do was have fun with their cameras and I didn’t just mean having fun taking the images but also too produce images that where fun and this weeks contribution from Mia Lee does just that whilst still being sexy as hell. A clever play on words combined with girly socks and the very grown-up shoes all work beautifully together to create this fantastic sexy image that you just can not help but smile at.

The Anthropology Of Newt Kai

And finally my top pic of the week is from a fairly new player to Sinful Sunday (this is only her 2nd time joining in) Newt Kai. Any image that inspires me to want to create my own version will always jump to the top of my list but one that inspires, intrigues, challenges and leaves me asking questions not just of myself but of the artist too, is pretty much guaranteed it’s place in this list. This image is striking and raw and in some ways quite shocking and yet there is a true beauty about it as well. As I look into her eyes you have to wonder how many of the words on the images are held within that unflinching and powerful gaze.

The next Sinful Sunday competition which will take place on the 3rd June 2012.

THE THEME

Rude Britannia

As usual, interpret as you will, but just in case you need some help with ideas I have chosen this theme as it coincides with the Queens Diamond Jubilee, (she will have been Queen for 60 years) and so it is up to you to take the British theme and make it as naughty, sexy, sinful, sensual and/or erotic as you can. What do you think of when you lay back and think of England? Fish and Chips… Tea… Wimbledon… Royalty… Minis… Union Jack… James Bond… Rugby… Football… The Beatles…and don’t forget Scotland, Ireland and Wales too. Just a few ideas to help get you started, but please do feel free to play around with it in your own individual way and style.

THE RULES

1. Your entry must contain at least one photograph (this is still Sinful Sunday after all, which is all about the image) It must be a photograph you took or someone took for you. You may include more than one image in your post

2. You must follow the normal guidelines for Sinful Sunday and use the badge to link your post back here.

3. Only one entry per blog

4. To be eligible for the competition your post must be inspired by the theme. (see above)

5. Please make sure your post is clearly marked as a competition entry. If you wish to still link into Sinful Sunday on that day but not be included in the competition that is fine, there will be a separate link in list for non competition entries.

THE PRIZES

You will have to wait till nearer the time to find out exactly what you can win as I am still waiting for all the prizes to land on my doorstep but I can tell you there will be more amazing goodies from Nipple Charms and Venus Flytrap Jewels as chance to win the brand board game Tease.

The Judges

There will be a judging panel which consists of myself, Sir (Domsigns) and, I am delighted to say, the wonderful Kerry Stott will be joining us again.  Kerry is the author of Double Decker Bus; “a compelling account of  Kerry’s adventures with cancer”. She is a funny, sassy, talented and intelligent lady and her appreciation of all things erotic made her a fabulous addition to the judging panel.

One of the reasons I started Sinful Sunday was to create a positive environment for people to share their erotic images. I wanted to try to show people that you don’t have to have ‘super model’ looks or a ‘super model’ body to be sexy. I hoped that by building a community of people who were supportive it would lead others to give it a go and maybe along the way we might help people see their own beautiful bodies in a whole new light. This week on twitter I have had a number of people tell me that joining in with Sinful Sunday has done just that for them. I am proud of the Sinful Sunday community for this and I am doubly proud that this meme has encouraged people to be bolder, braver and more confident with their images.

On another slightly related note we also had a fair number of new contributors this week as well as a some people joining in for only the second or third time. I want to say a big welcome to those folks. We are delighted to have you on board and we hope you find Sinful Sunday as positive experience as many other people have.

And on that happy note it is time for me to share my tops 3 pics from this weeks collection.

Geeky Nymph

I picked this image because of it simplicity really. It is beautifully shot, with the glint of light on the glass and the curves of the plug seem to perfectly match the smooth curves and contours of her bottom and thigh. It is suggestive whilst still remaining delicate and sensual.

A Slut’s Memoir

‘Isn’t she beautiful in pain?’ That was the question Laurie posted alongside this image and you know what she is spot on. She looks amazingly beautiful, the look of utter abandon on her face is stunning and the slight curve of her hip, as if she is offering herself up for more, just adds to the whole look but to be honest for me it is Laurie herself that takes this image to whole new place for me. She looks so serenely beautiful kneeling there waiting for her turn that she takes me breath away.

Tales From Under Our Covers

Do I really need to explain? As I said in twitter, this is not just a cock shot this is something way more complex and erotic than that and was posted alongside another equally stunning image. I found it hard to chose between the two. In the end this one won; there is something about that drop of pre cum that quite frankly I find mesmerising.

Cutting to the chase this week and launching straight into my top 3 pics of the week starting with…

A Sensual Skeptic

This blog is exceptionally new in fact that might be an understatement as her Sinful Sunday post is only the second post this blogger has made but if this image is anything to go by this looks like the beginnings of a very promising blog indeed. The moment I laid eyes on this image I knew it would end up here this week. It is a classic shot brilliantly executed, it is erotic, sensual, suggestive and above all sexy as hell.

Cara Sutra

The title of Cara’s post is Innocence and yet this image for me is probably about as far removed from that word as you can get whilst still remaining somehow innocent. The pose is tantalisingly sexy, the hair gives it an abandoned and wild feel all combined with those big innocent eyes that look at you and if you are any thing like me make you wiggle in your seat as you stare into those eyes and slowly lose your own innocence.

A Couple Of Wankers

I do so love a man who can cook and more importantly will willing launch himself into the kitchen and get on with it. There is nothing like coming home to a man preparing your dinner for you, that is unless you come home to a man semi naked and preparing your dinner for you which is exactly what happened to Lucy. Where do the weeks go? It seems like only yesterday and it was the beginning of April and we were getting ready for the Sinful Sunday Easter competition and now April is all but done and dusted and May is about to arrive. It seems that these competitions are a fairly popular feature here and so I am planning ahead and want to hear your thoughts. I am divided over the Queens Diamond Jubilee or a 4th of July theme. Although to be honest I am drawn to the Queen, after all it is not every year that a monarch rules for 60 years and regardless of your view on royal families the theme does rather lend itself to a vast myriad of pervertable possibilities don’t you think?

In the meantime April is not quite over yet and so on with my final top 3 pics of the week for this month…

A Couple Of Wankers

Even though pegging is not my thing this image still captivates me. It’s sensual and erotic qualities show a loving couple enjoying an intimate and bonding experience. This image draws me into the relationship, it has a warmth about it and a passion that I love. Last week I had a great deal of trouble picking my top 3 pics as I loved so many of the entries and these guys where one of the people who narrowly missed out to the stiff (excuse the pun) competition but not so this week. I love this cheeky, playful image; the curl of her hair on shoulder, the glimmer of sexy lace and the interesting  perspective of this shot all work together to create an image that intrigues and delights. Don’t you just want to see more?

Dragon’s Kink

Kazi’s post this week was in celebration of Earth Day and you will have to hop over to her blog for a better explanation as to why this image fits in with that theme because all you are going to get from me is a wow! I love this image, it is beautifully composed, the dark night creating the perfect backdrop and fabulous contrast to the virginal white of outfit and combined with the less than virginal pose it makes for a truly awesome top pic of the week.

Ready for a quick round up of all things Sinful Sunday? I really do hope you looked through the full list of participants this week because if not you have really missed out. Usually I find picking my top 3 a fairly simple process. Sometimes I have to pick and choose a bit but in general they just seem to pick themselves. Not this week. This week I ended up with 7 posts on my list and at least 3 others that I could have easily included. After much repeat viewing, not that I am complaining about that mind you, and with some input from Twitter I did finally manage to whittle it down to this fabulous 3some…

Lilmissshalla

Shalla is a new player to Sinful Sunday and to the blogging world as a whole but if this is the type of image she is going to be posting I am fairly sure her blog is going to be very popular. Capturing movement successfully within an image is no mean feat but Shalla has managed it beautifully here. The harsh white of the rope against the dark carpet has created such a perfect swoosh of the rope and if you want to see another really fabulous picture then head over to Shalla’s blog and see exactly what the rope was used for.

Honey Flick’s Tales

I can’t quite put my finger on why this is such a good image but I just know that it is, there is something very beautiful about the bare back, the cut of the hair and the harsh contrast of the belt that just does it for me. Don’t find her intriguing? I would love to see the expression on her face or maybe her bottom, is it already sore and bruised or is she waiting? Although if you go and read the poem Honey wrote to go with this image then you can probably draw your own conclusions about that.

I know I said I had a hard time choosing my top 3 this week but really I should have said my top 2 because the moment I laid eyes on this image I knew it would feature here in this page. Do I need to really explain why? The shape of her mouth, the fingers, the beautiful curve of her neck, and the tongue all just combine to create a truly erotic and sensual image and is without doubt my top pic of the week.
