I wanted to leave a comment on each blog. But, it’s taken me a week to leave just a few comments. I can’t read all the word verification and I don’t know why people use it. I have several blogs and don’t use it on any of them. Some WordPress blogs want me to login a second time using another email address. This one is a mystery to me. Anyway, I give up on the commenting plan. I don’t like mixing my adult profile with my other online profiles anyway. Most Blogger blogs force me to use my Google/ Blogger profile and don’t let me leave my actual blog link.

I will look at pictures and add to your traffic but I won’t be going through the frustration of trying to comment any more.

Hi Sweetie.. I completely understand your frustrations as I share many of them. The blogger word verification is a nightmare and unfortunately if people choose to have it on their blog there is no way round it, personally I think they are mad if they do as I am fairly sure it puts people off commenting and therefore reduces the number of comments they receive. The issue with the new WP email sign in, only applies to WP blogs that are hosted on wp.com so blogs like mine, Curvaceous Dee, Kazi-girl at A Dragon’s Kink, and Rebel Notes do not have this issue and so commenting here should be easy. On the other non self hosted WP blogs this has been created by WP changing their procedure and that if you use an email address to comment that is registered to a WP account and you are trying to comment on a blog hosted on WP they want you to sign into your WP account to comment…however the way round this is to either use a different email that WP don’t know, or just change the email address you are using in some way. I add a No.1 to mine. Yes, it is no longer a valid email address but WP don’t seem to mind that!!!

I hope that helps, if you have any other questions please do get in touch… maybe the way to go is rather than commenting on none of the posts, as I do like to encourage a community feel to the project, you could make time to comment on perhaps 3 post a week. Perhaps like me you could pick your top 3 each week and comment on just those ones.

Thanks for taking the time to comment and for joining in with Sinful Sunday

Thanks Molly. I was thinking to move my blog from Blogger to WordPress.com this morning. But if they have the same issue with forcing people to login to their own service, then it won’t make any real difference.

Also, thanks for letting me know word verification was on my blog. (Went in and fixed it right away). I’ve never had it on. But I had heard they were changing the way it is handled and I should have checked again to make sure it was still turned off. I hate it. It’s taken me years to “get over” passwords but I can’t see word verification as any kind of necessity. I self moderate everything. All my other blogs are self-hosted WordPress. This adult blog is my last hold out on Blogger.

I will just comment on my favourites. But, it’s a shame. I really like to leave a comment on each one. I know how nice it is to have feedback and I very much like getting comments myself.
