Make sure you check out the details of the upcoming Sinful Sunday ‘One Word’ Competition that will take place on the 28th July 2013 and because of the competition this months guest poster, the lovely Penny from A Penny For Your Dirty Thoughts will be taking her spot here a week early and compiling next weeks round-up.

In the meantime…

We are lucky in the UK at the moment to be enjoying some lovely summer weather that is providing some stunning natural light for those of us who the photography types and as you can see from this shot Harper has taken full advantage of that to create this beautifully composed image which has an interesting school girl and retro feel to it.

I have mixed feelings on the ‘bush or no bush’ issue. For me personally I am all about the shaving, I don’t like the way my bush looks or feels. I have very dark hair and there was never anything soft about my pubes but on other people I think they actually look very pretty but they do seem to have become a bit of a rare thing these days so when I saw this beautiful shot from Penny I actually gave a little happy clap. It is beautiful composed, with gentle lighting that highlights the soft light colour of her hair and the out of focus thighs in the background helping to ‘place’ the shot on her body.

I love how the colour match in this shot, all the pinks and purples seem to be a perfect fit and highlight beautifully her amazingly pale skin which combined with the fixed start give a slightly eerie death like quality to her. There is something deliciously wicked and somewhat innocent about her all at the same time.

Kink Etc

Right up until I clicked on the image below this shot from Kink Etc was going to be my top pick of the week. In the end I had to move it down slightly but to be honest it really should share the limelight as I think it is truly outstanding. The pose, the tail, the hands and of course the outdoor location all combine to create something that just oozes sensual sexuality.

Digital Harlot

Digital harlot and Cara Sutra on Sinful Sunday

There is so much detail in this shot, the bruise, the nipple, the slightly coy twist of the leg but for me this shot is really all about her face. The strong make-up gives her an almost painted feel, like a mask and yet her eyes are locked on the camera, and as a result on us the viewer, with an almost unnerving gaze that no matter how much I look at I can not decipher. The moment I clicked on this entry I knew it was going to be my top image of the week.

I am very puzzled by this trend to shave pubic hair. Why does any one remove their secoundary sexual characteristicsat that signify their physioloigical maturity for sex.Psycholigical maturity is something else entirely.

Woman shaving themselves removes those signs of maturity are they really subliminaly suggesting they really aren’t ready for sex and want to hide back in their child hood body. I have heard it excused on clenliness grounds, wash more for gods sake if thats a problem

Its a look that originated in the porn industry, that hardly seems a reliable arbiter of fashion and one to copy

    Puzzled as ever Ian

Thank you for your comment Ian. I think the answer is that it is about personal preference and choice. For me the only reason I shave is because I like it, I like the way it feels and the way it looks. That is my preference and choice. I think if you are shaving in order to look like a porn star then you might want to think again but as long as you are happy with whatever amount of hair you decide to have then yay for you

@Ian I would also say that a man’s ability to grow facial hair is a sign of physical maturity (ie readiness and physical ability to engage in sex.) Does a man shaving his face mean that he is trying to imply sexual immaturity or that he is trying to hide his maturity?

As with any choices a person makes about their appearance, the only person that has to know or care about *why* they do it is themselves, and there are as many reasons for the choices we make in our appearance as there are ways to alter said appearance.
