Oleander’s top 5 pics of the week
First, I would like to say, it is an honor to be your “photo picker” this week! When Molly asked me if I would like to be a guest judge, I squealed a little (okay, a lot), and then, (of course), I said “Yes! A thousand times yes!”
I was a Sinful Sunday lurker for a long time before I mustered up the courage to participate, but I’m glad I did. This is more than a weekly meme – this is a community – and the people involved are all wonderfully supportive of each other.
Maybe this is your first time here and you’re wondering, “What is Sinful Sunday?” I can’t speak for
everyone, but I can tell you what Sinful Sunday is to me in one word. Art. Sexy, erotic art created purely for the love of self-expression. The photos celebrate the human form in all its wonderful diversities, and that is a beautiful thing!
Speaking of beautiful things, let’s get to the pics, shall we? This week, I had to sift through 43 offerings! I’m not complaining, eyeballing these pics was hella awesome, but wow, narrowing this group down to 5 was not easy. Once I had the list whittled down to around ten, I realized something. Most of the shots I picked were of men. Could I comprise a Sinful Sunday top five consisting of all dudes? Yeah, sounds like something I would do. These photos made me smile, made me sweat, and made me thank myself for buying a laptop with a 17-inch screen. So, without further ado, *clutches stack of dollar bills*, I present to you:

This is a stunning image. A beautiful contrast of feminine and masculine. When I look at this photo, I want to know more – did they just make love – or are they just getting started? How much did he enjoy the feel of her silk stockings against his bare legs? Are they sipping wine? Is there music playing in the background? Delicious story fodder.
Wow! This had me staring (and enlarging) for quite a while. Subtle, yet, we know what’s there, pressing against that stretchy fabric. I love photos that make you do a double take, then draw you in until you’ve puzzled out exactly what is going on. Fantastically distracting.
Sex, cock and rock & roll, how could you go wrong? Mr. E. brings it with this fun piece. Another photo you have to enlarge and take a good look at, just to see what exactly is going on behind that racquet. I love the flirty pose, the tie pointing down to “the goods” and the overall sense of fun. A rockin’ good time.
A Penny for Your Dirty Thoughts
First, I feel awkward drooling over Penny’s man (sorry Penny!), but wowza. The long hair, the muscles, the tats, he looks like he walked right out of one of my stories. Besides the beautiful man, the photo is fucking amazing. Perfectly detailed, focused and composed, it’s a masterpiece. I especially love how Penny used the window frame to split the photo into fourths. Artistic genius.
This is such a great shot. To me, it does not look like a selfie. I imagine our hero out for a naked stroll in the woods – maybe he’s been camping – when a jogger runs past and snaps a sexy photo that she/he “uses” later for, um, entertainment purposes. I love the movement of the background and the contrast of the virile body against brilliant greenery. Fun and sexy.
