Sinful Sunday Weekly Round-up 224

Naked woman on chair

One last reminder, this weekend will be August and so time to reveal your images for this months prompt – Sinful Sunday August Monthly Prompt and now I will hand over to this weeks guest writer who is the lovely Indy Jones from The Shingle Beach

Indy’s top 5 Pics of the Week

“I squeaked. Then I squealed. I wanted to tell everyone, only I could very quickly imagine the scene as I tried to explain to my non-Shingle friends how big a deal Molly asking me to do the round up was, and just why she was asking me…
All these amazing people, contributing all these amazing images, such positive and supportive feedback, and the amazing bloggers Molly gets to do the roundup – so yes, just why was she asking me?!?

Once I’d got over the giddiness…
It turns out I’m quite a simple creature.
I love curves: bodies that – ironically, despite how long it took for me to see the beauty in my own – have the same generous ins and outs as I see in the mirror, whether natural or assisted by underwear.
I’m a sucker for bottoms, shapely legs, the beautifully lit and the slightly noir.
I make no apology for the fact that my choices for this week’s roundup reflect those likes so strongly – but then it’s like you lot knew those were the buttons to push…

Understanding Flutterby

Woman crouching down in corset

Maybe it does deserve a better title, but a rose by any other name etc. It’s no secret that I’m rather partial to corsetry and stockings, and this is a beautifully dark, sexy, confident take on that look. Two images this week made me think of Frank Miller’s Sin City: this is one dame you don’t cross. And the boobies themselves? Pert, full and perfect. I love the way they catch both light and shadow, demanding closer attention.

Sex is my New Hobby

Naked woman on chair

I once tried doing something like this, and just got stuck. Bah.
It’s very clever making the chair the focus of the image. Does anyone else see twin stylised female figures in the negative space created by its back piece? And then, *just* out of focus, the more subtle, but more beautiful, figure of our real subject – and that tantalising glimpse of nipple.

Cammies on the Floor

Man and woman silhouette kissing

This was the second image that made me think of Sin City – but a much less doom-laden than standard installment. Great comic book lines and texture, so much being said with so little. A strong male figure, with a beautiful woman in his arms. But look at the expression on her face: no one in Frank Miller’s world ever looks that happy! It’s a whole story in one frame. *sigh*.

Charlie in the Pool

Woman with feet up in the sun

I love this image from Charlie; there’s a sense of complete relaxation, in both her own body and in the beautiful surroundings she finds herself in. On a wet and windy Sunday, when I was up to my neck in news and current affairs for the first time in ages and despairing about that slightly, it was always going to be an attractive image – and then there’s that beautiful pair of legs.

Filth and Erotica

Womans butt with belt

So let’s just go through that list of features I’m drawn to again, shall we? Curves – check. A (beautiful) bottom – check. A filter adding a grainy, gritty, slightly-too-light-for-noir-but-near-enough feel? Check. And the fact that the belt is being held so it resembles a bow, making a gift of her body…”

Thank you to Indy for her wonderful round-up and you can find her on her own blog; The Shingle Beach and on Twitter @TheShingleBeach

Blast from the Past

Sinful Sunday Week 105 – Penny for your Dirty Thoughts

Penny self portrait in the mirror with cat

This is such a fabulous self portrait image. The strong blue walls could so easily overwhelm Penny within the image but by using the mirror to create depth in the image that doesn’t happen, instead we have a wonderful candid shot of Penny and her feline model.
