Don’t forget this Sunday is the first one in March and so it time to reveal your images for the prompt!
This weeks round-up is another guest post. This week we have a consumer of Sinful Sunday picking her favourites. I am truly am grateful for all the people who contribute to the round-up. I really love seeing what different people select as their favourites and I think it gives the round-up a really varied feel.
Twiglets Top 5 Pics of the Week
I am not sure what I was looking for, I thought maybe a theme, a story built from the images, but I realised that I was imposing my own narrative on images which tell their own. So that won’t do. Then it struck me, what I look for in images, a story, a hint of something else to tease my mind that makes me ask, who’s there, what next, where had they been… An image that crafts and lures the minds eye…
So to my first choice the soft focus background and abandoned clutter of the outside world, combined with the very clear wand, made me smile. It’s just left there, like they haven’t the strength to lift it any more, all bones turned to mush in the power of the orgasms.
Similarly the power of orgasms tantalise in this image, so clean and bright, the light reflecting, like a catalogue image. But in my mind, it’s the strength and power of glass to make us melt, the potential story as light refracts. The glass dildo, the cleanness and clarity of it, just waiting there ready to be dirtied and used. A not so subtle metaphor for the slut in me.
The next three images also shout out strength and power, but so differently. The hardness of the marble like glass, in this image, a classical statue, so still, with grace posing for us, speaks volumes to me. There is an intriguing juxtaposition between the cold grey colours and the soft warmth I imagine of her flesh. I want to see her face, I want her not to hide, but the folds and layers of her body tantalise just as they are. I can imagine the photographer holding out for a coy over the shoulder glance, she smiles, and then the next image is taken, but we can’t see, that soft moment is private.
In contrast there’s no hiding in this image despite the clever effects. Paradoxically, I find that the added extras in this picture actually help strip us back to the core of the image. The force of character, the direct look compels. She dares the reader to come closer. The layering effect and sepia filter reminds me of carnivals and I wonder if the realm of the blogger is like those traveling shows?
Finally, the guest post on Molly’s own page is so beautifully constructed. There is so much to look at and play with, stories, relationships, fun, it reminds me of a still life, with the characters carefully positioned – a ‘composition’ of people. I feel like a complete voyeur here, privileged to be watching someone else’s private soft moment, even though she invites us in with her look at the audience/camera thereby willing us to see and participate in her strength.

Sinful Sunday Week 132 – Happy Come Lucky
Honey wrote in a very recent Sinful Sunday post about how taking photos of herself helped her to realise she had and “arse worthy of appreciation.” She is absolutely right there as this image from the past shows perfectly but what I really like about this shot is they way she amazingly powerful in it, like some sort of fearless superhero with the shock of long red hair and that bold stance. She looks like a force to be reckoned with.
