This weeks round-up is written by Jane from Behind the Chintz Curtain who asked me to pass on her apologies to those she has not managed to comment on this week. Her life is rather overwhelming at the moment but she wants you to know that she visited each and every post before deciding on her top 5.
Jane’s Top 5 Pics of the Week
Sleeping Venus: that was my first thought when I saw this – a modern version of a Titian or a Giorgione. Not only is Maria’s pose exquisite but the lighting in this image is extremely well done. And all that white bedding creates a wonderfully soft frame around that gorgeous body of hers.
Yay! I was so thrilled to see Charlie back on Sinful Sunday – and what a shot to return with. Not only does she look thoroughly beautiful in this image but it gives the viewer the impression that she really is about to head for the door clad only in her backpack. The world’s sexiest traveller? Absolutely!
I’ve been falling more and more in love with Holden and Camille’s blog since I discovered it through Sinful Sunday a few weeks back. These two take the most stunningly sexy pictures and I always come away feeling a bit hot and bothered after looking at them. But what really appeals to me is the intimacy of their photographs – and this one, Take Me There, is no exception. The way they’re wrapped around one another other, the placement of Holden’s hands on Camille’s torso and hip … Nothing explicit but the eroticism between the two of them is palpable and undeniable.
Amethyst, Undone
This photograph actually made me suck in my breath. Those firm, purposeful fingers gripping Amethyst’s wrist and the blackness beyond the tangle of hands? My imagination immediately went to all sorts of darkly delicious places. Just whose clutches is she in – and what, exactly, does he plan to do with her?
Livvy’s photographs seem to get better and better every week and – oh, my – has she knocked it out of the park with this one. Not only is this image incredibly (incredibly) hot but it’s my very favourite kind of erotic tease; you can absolutely tell what’s going on in but you’re forced to work a little harder to get to the good stuff thanks to the shallow depth of field. Love that the focus is on Livvy’s thigh, leaving the viewer to pick out the other slightly blurred elements. Sensual, beautiful, stunning.
