Sinful Sunday Monthly Prompt October 2017

Sinful Sunday monthly prompt sponsored by Sheets of San Francisco

I am absolutely delighted to welcome another sponsor to Sinful Sunday this month. And this one is super exciting for you all because they are offering a very exclusive prize to one lucky person, but before we get onto the details let me introduce the fabulous folks at Sheets of San Francisco.

Sinful Sunday monthly prompt sponsored by Sheets of San Francisco

Sheets of San Francisco are the home of fluid proof products that allow you to enjoy wet and messy sexy play without having to worry about the clean up. Their products are made from a highly durable fabric that not only feels great against the skin but is also breathable and extremely easy to clean which means when you are done making a mess you can bung it in the wash.

Besides just wanting to support Sinful Sunday and the blogging community they decided that sponsoring a prompt would be a great way of promoting their new print to order range. This will be a premium service that will allow their customers to order a throw printed with their own unique design and so one of you is going to end up owning a very exclusive Sheets of San Francisco throw with your image printed on it so make sure you read through all the details below to find out how to be in with a chance of being that winner.

The prompt for 1st October 2017 is: Fluids

We have decided on the word fluids but really what you want to think about is what that might mean in relation to one of the sheets. The winning image (which will be selected by myself and Sheets of San Francisco) will be printed onto one of their throws. So there are a multitude of possible options you could explore from wax to food and everything else wet and messy in between. Things to keep in mind though, the winning image will be printed on a throw that is approx 140cm x 220cm so keep that in mind how that will look when it comes to your composition. You also might want to think about keeping the colours to a minimum or even a black and white image and finally you will need to be able to provide your image (if you are selected as the winner) in a high resolution format. (see notes below on image quality) It would also be possible for an image to be printed in a repeating pattern over the throw rather than one single image it would be one single image printed much smaller but repeated over and over to cover the whole sheet.

As per usual there will be a round-up with 5 images but one of those image will be selected by Sheet of Francisco to receive one of their throws with the winning image printed on it. Whilst that one throw will be completely unique and sent to you, Sheets of San Francisco would like to be able to do promotional work around their new print to order range using the winning sheet/image and so by entering an image into this competition if your image is picked you are giving them permission to use it in their promotion for this product and in exchange you will receive your own throw.

If you wish to still join in with this months prompt but not be considered for the competition aspect that is absolutely fine. All you need to do is state in your post that you are NOT entering the competition.

Image quality

If you want to be in with a chance of winning then you will need to have a copy of your image in a high resolution format, either a high res j.peg or an image shot in RAW. You do NOT need to publish the high resolution version on your blog. Never do this by the way, it slows your site down and for any of your readers using their mobile data or who have download limits you are using up tons of that unnecessarily. Your images should also be resized for the web and never bigger than 900×600 (approx) you only need to have a high resolution copy available if you win.

However for the competition a high resolution image will need to be provided for the printer so please keep this in mind when shooting. Many camera phones have high resolution settings, some even let you shoot in RAW so don’t assume just because you only have a camera phone your image won’t be good enough. Do some research because chances are your phone can do it. However most of those setting do no apply to the forward facing lens on your camera phone and so it is probably best to avoid that.

If the winning image is found not to be available in a high enough resolution for the printing to take place then sadly the only option will be for another winner to be selected.

If anyone needs help or advice with this then feel free to get in touch. Do not be put off by this part of the competition, reach out for help and I will do my best.
