The prompt for JUNE 2015 is: Colour Filter
The idea for this prompt came after I saw this Sinful Sunday image Well Re(a)d by Cheeky Minx. It got me thinking how, by adding a colour filter to an image you can really change the mood of an picture. Reds will often add a sultry or hot feel to an image whereas blue tends to cool things down but what of yellow or green or purple or pink?
Your task this month is to add a colour filter to your image. This can be done in camera by purchasing colour filters to put on your len but in this day and age of digital photography that is not really needed anymore as nearly every photo editing package has some sort of colour filtering option. If you wish to also post the original image without the colour filter please do. This worked very successfully when we did a similar thing with the black and white prompt and really got people discussing what they liked about the different edits but, as always, it is totally up to you.
Here are some examples of colour filter images to give you some ideas

The prompt is published here on the site mid month, which will give people approximately 2 weeks to work on their idea before linking in, on the 1st weekend of the month. The prompt is completely optional and you can link in as normal on that weekend whether you have used the prompt or not. The usual Sinful Sunday rules will, of course, apply. Please make sure you have read them recently so that you are fully aware of what is and is not allowed.
As always interpret as you wish, or disregard altogether and do you own thing.
