I knew it would be a fiendishly difficult task. Every week, I find myself in awe of the bravery, vulnerability and sexiness of our little community of bloggers. Your images inspire me. It was hard enough to whittle my choices down to 10 images and sheer torture to choose just 5. I had to drop so many great photographs from my list. Before I unveil my choices, know how much I appreciate all of you!
I love photos taken in natural light, as well as using windows for framing. The interplay of light and shadow is just mesmerizing. I love the splashes of color – the jade green lake, Bee’s flame-red hair – contrasted with the muted tones inside the bird hide. I would not have been able to resist slapping that perfect ass.
Livvy looks like a “Golden Age of Hollywood” starlet we’ve surprised in her boudoir. Everything is just so: Her curly hair spilling across her neck, the rumpled blankets mirroring the ripples in her back, that one alert eye peeping out at us, ready for mischief. She looks relaxed yet alert, like a cat ready to pounce.
I knew this image HAD to be in my top 5 the moment I saw it. Her pose, the set of her lips, the expectation in every line of her body – everything says this is a woman who will command and conquer. Every man who secretly longs to obey a mistress should have this photo on their bedroom wall.
Molly blows me away each and every week with her photography skills (and almost makes me want to smash my camera in disgust). This could be my favorite image from her yet. Autumn is my favorite season, and this photo captures both its warmth and crispness. Her pose on the bed of leaves, the colors, the focal zoom – everything is so perfect I can’t tear my eyes away.
Pandora has achieved the perfect blend of evocative images and words here. The top photo, in particular, hits me like a punch in the gut. I am captivated by the desperate longing in her face and the hint of a wicked smile on his, as well as how his body is pinning hers down. The image captures everything that sex, lust and love can be between two people completely in tune with one another.
