Sinful Sunday Weekly Round up 369
Firstly a final big thank you to the fabulous Doxy for sponsoring the monthly prompt this time around. Please do take a few moments to check out their site especially their new erotic story section.
This month the prompt was all about spinning the wheels and seeing what chance would give you to work with. It seems that people really enjoyed the wheels of photography so I think I will definitely be bringing them back again in the future and the resulting images were, as ever, all amazing, making my job on the round up this week tricky but oh so enjoyable.
Molly’s Top5 Pics of the Week
I found myself utterly lost in this image by Tabitha. It has a ethereal magical quality that makes me think of fairy tales. Tabitha got Mirror and Blue as her two prompts this week and the resulting image is breathtaking.
The prompts here were ‘Artificial Light’ and ‘Toys’ and all I can say is that Missy absolutely blew me away with this series of amazing images. The combination of the coloured glow bracelets and the glass toys is perfection. A truly brilliant idea brilliantly executed.
Maria’s prompts were Triptych and Blue. Now I am a big fan of triptych images but I actually think doing them really well is harder than you think because you have to get the balance between the 3 images right and they also need to connect in some way but Maria has totally nailed it with this. The blue tones make her look like some sort of porcelain doll and three images together all have a slightly elusive, mysterious feel to them.
The spinning wheels gave ‘Minimalist’ and ‘Chair’ to Exposing 40 and boy did she use them to great effect. It is such a simple image but so incredibly powerful. It is impossible not to the view the chair as an invitation although with that plug sitting on it maybe challenge would be a better word.
Honey had two version of this image but I picked this one because it makes it look like some sort of psychedelic slide to glide down into the pleasures waiting beyond. It is a truly brilliant piece of photography and I applaud Honey and her man for fantastic creation. Oh and just so you know, her prompt words were ‘shallow depth of field’ and ‘toy’.
