Sinful Sunday Monthly Prompt July 2018

The prompt for 1st July 2018 is: Diptych

So this is a bit like a Triptych but instead of three images combined to make one piece this is two images combined to make one piece. Just like with a Triptych though the two image should be in some way related or one image that you have split into two and edited in different ways.

There are lots of option for things you could do but remember the images can be either side by side or one above the other and they don’t have to be of equal size. One might be in colour and one in black and white. Or you could try taking one image and making a mirror image.

For those people with editing software if you have Photoshop or GIMP there are plenty of tutorials online to show you how you how create a Diptych using two images

For those using your phone. If you are interested in trying to create a mirror image with one photo then try Photo Editor Selfie Camera Filter & Mirror Image
Lyrebird Studio. Some of it is a bit naff but it does do an number of mirror image options.

If you search on the app store for layout then a lot of them come up. I have heard that Layout from Instagram is good (and you don’t have to have IG to use it)

Here are a couple of examples of Diptychs to hopefully give you some inspiration but if you google Diptychs there are lots, although not erotic they should hopefully give you ideas for your own piece.
