Sinful Sunday Monthly Prompt March 2021

The prompt for 7th March 2021 is: Surrealism

Surrealism “is best known for its visual artworks and writings and the juxtaposition of uncommon imagery. Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes, sometimes with photographic precision, creating strange creatures from everyday objects, and developing painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself. Its aim was, according to leader André Breton, to “resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dream and reality into an absolute reality, a super-reality”, or surreality.” ~ Wiki

This is one for you to really explore your creative weirdness. I am quite excited by this prompt and what folks will come up with. Below is some inspiration if needed but also if you google Surrealism photography there is a lot to look at!

Lashes by Maria Opens Up

Breathless by Exposing 40

Day 13 by Focused and Filthy

Something Strange by Molly’s Daily Kiss

The prompt is published here on the site mid month, which will give people approximately 2 weeks to work on their idea before linking in, on the 1st weekend of the month. The prompt is completely optional and you can link in as normal on that weekend whether you have used the prompt or not. The usual Sinful Sunday rules will, of course, apply. Please make sure you have read them recently so that you are fully aware of what is and is not allowed. As always interpret as you wish, or disregard altogether and do you own thing. Have your post ready to go for Sunday 7th March 2021. Any questions or queries can be posted in the comments below, you can email me [email protected] or tweet me @mollysdailykiss
