Sinful Sunday Weekly Round-up 192
Apologies (particularly to Maria who is picking the top 5 this week) for the lateness of this round-up but this week has turned into a rather busy one with family stuff and Christmas preparations but as the saying goes, better late than never.
Maria’s Top 5 pics
I’ve been a follower of Sinful Sunday for about 10 months and a participator for eight (it took me a couple months of watching you all to get the courage up to post myself). I’ve had a sort of self-image renaissance this past year and a huge percentage of the confidence I’m gaining and the appreciation I’m learning to have for my body is due to Sinful Sunday and this community. (Thanks everyone!) So you can imagine how I excited I was when Molly asked if I’d do the round-up for week 192.
That delight turned to consternation when I saw what a crop of brilliant photos I was going to have to choose from this week. Everyone who does this always says how hard it is to choose just five and I have to admit, I didn’t fully appreciate the difficulty until now. So, in no particular order…
I love the lighting in this photo, it’s so completely natural and clear, as is the pose. But the real star is the bruise, of course. It looks to me like an artist took a paintbrush dipped in gold and purple paint and swiped it across her bottom in one smooth stroke, leaving a deliciously tender and delicate mark. It positively invites kisses and strokes, doesn’t it? (Also, I’m a bit jealous of the delicious twinge she must feel every time she sits down).
There is something so inviting about this image. The whiskey is in focus and supposedly the center of attention but aren’t you drawn to the golden warmth of her hair? I love the edit she did, with the gold sparkles and the extreme depth of field. The image has serious directional movement and you can’t help but want to follow her into whatever fairyland she is leading you to.
I am head over heels in love with this Alphabet Advent Calendar from Molly. (So check out the whole series if you haven’t already). But I find this image in particular is really wonderful. There is something so poetic and “right” about the fact that Christmas is a holiday celebrated because of a childbirth and Molly has chosen to pose just this way. As always in Molly’s portraits, there is a sense of magic here. I love the way the rich colors and tones bring Molly’s body as the background into such an integral, yet subtle, part of the scene.
My face broke into a huge grin when I first saw this picture. The colors and the quirky humor on display bring to mind a Wes Anderson movie. The face on the suitcase is so striking that your eyes are immediately drawn there, but then, with delight, you discover his erect cock, mimicked by the line of his watch and edge of the suitcase and the photos on the wall. It all works together to form a delightful, fascinating image. Every time I go back to it I see something new that makes me smile.
There is something so incredibly sexy about this shot. I’ve never dated anyone big enough that I could comfortably wear their white button down but it’s such a sexy idea, (reiterated in films and images for ages) that I’ve always wanted to. There’s something so warm (and hot) about the idea of wrapping yourself up in his clothes. I also adore that Ruby is actually revealing nothing, just the barest hint of cleavage, yet you know how wet she must be, how much she must be longing for her man. Her hand placement creates perfect balance, the black and white was a beautiful choice. I really love this image!

Sinful Sunday Week 73 – Clive Journey’s Into Kink
Anyone fancy some fruit and nuts? I love this shot because it is so typically Clive, combining a play with words to create an image that is cheeky and full of naughty humour, after all sexy doesn’t always have to be serious.
