Sinful Sunday Weekly Round-up 264
This week it was all about mirrors on Sinful Sunday. When I posted the prompt I thought that it had potential to inspire some fabulous images, I was right, because yet again as a group you excelled yourself and the variety and creativity of all the images was really quite something. I have, after much internal debate, whittled my favourites down to 5. It was a tough, but truly inspiring and enjoyable, task. I know there will be lots more mirror images in my future and I hope this prompt will inspire some of you to play around with them more in the future too.
As per usual the new prompt for next month will be published next week so keep your eyes peeled and your cameras ready for that.
Molly’s Top 5 Pics of the Week
What I love about this image is that mirror not only offers us a view of the her beautiful legs but also gives us a glimpse of the person she is. The colourful collection of pretty things that hang round the mirror and the pass to the WOMAD festival all gives us clues to the woman in the image. I also love the way that the brightness from the window in the mirror has created an optical illusion which makes it looks like she has a very cool arched window above her bed.
This image speaks to me on so many levels. The broken mirror is a powerful metaphor in and of itself but taking a slice of it and turning it into a dagger really plays with the concepts of a mirror being both a wonderful and potentially painful cutting thing. Then of course there is just the heat which exudes from the contrast between the vicious shard of glass and her soft tender flesh that just speaks to my kink.
This image is called Infinity and I spent nearly that long utterly lost in this picture as my eyes ran back and forth into the depth of this shot and back out again. It is utterly mesmerizing and should be printed up and hung up on a wall in some gallery somewhere.
This is pure genius. The curves, the the symmetry, the negative space, the vintage feel. The whole thing is just a visual delight.
The Erotic Ponderings of Velvet Rose
Finally we come to my image of the week and as I said on Twitter…all the wow. The use of the mirror to create a circular frame around her body is fabulous and the way the shape of mirror mirrors the curves and contours of her body within is just stunning. She looks like a Rubenesque goddess. I really hope that Velvet Rose is hugely proud of this image because it is beautiful, powerful and visually stunning.

Sinful Sunday Week 143 – Sex with Rose
There is something so soft and sensual about this image that I find hugely erotic and arousing. It feels decadent and indulgent and makes me want to lay down in the shadows next to Rose and watch her.
