Sinful Sunday Monthly Prompt October 2020
The prompt for 4th October 2020 is: Edited by someone else versus Edited by you
Can you give up control?
Before I continue I want to be absolutely clear that you should only entrust your image to someone else if you are absolutely sure. There is, as always, no need to join in with the prompt if it makes you uncomfortable.
So, take your picture and then buddy up with someone to edit it for you. It can be another blogger or your partner, your friend, your Mum, it really is up to you but the idea is to let them edit the picture and see what they come up with whilst at the same time you do your own edit then post them together. Do you prefer what your guest editor did or do you like your version better?
It would be brilliant if bloggers swapped images but if you want to do it with someone else that is absolutely fine and if you have no one to do it with and are not comfortable approaching another blogger I am happy to couple up with as many people who want to. Email and Twitter contact below if you want to get in touch.
The prompt is published here on the site mid month, which will give people approximately 2 weeks to work on their idea before linking in, on the 1st weekend of the month. The prompt is completely optional and you can link in as normal on that weekend whether you have used the prompt or not. The usual Sinful Sunday rules will, of course, apply. Please make sure you have read them recently so that you are fully aware of what is and is not allowed. As always interpret as you wish, or disregard altogether and do you own thing. Have your post ready to go for Sunday 4th October 2020. Any questions or queries can be posted in the comments below, you can email me [email protected] or tweet me @mollysdailykiss
What a marvelous idea! Who wants to edit me???
[…] The October 2020 prompt for Sinful Sunday is edited by someone else vs edited by yourself. What a fun challenge! It was fun to see what Rose from On Her Back came up with for editing my picture. Though it was a bit intimidating to edit hers, worrying if she would be happy with it. The hardest part was asking her…I can be shy, but I am comfortable with Rose so I wasn’t TOO terrified of asking. […]
[…] She had been tinkering, as she likes to, and sent the above image across, I thought it fit with the prompt for Sinful Sunday. She brought a little sunshine to an otherwise grey, damp and murky […]
