Sinful Sunday Weekly Round-up 585
Welcome to Weekly Round-up 585. It is of course July now which means that this Sunday is prompt weekend.
Maria’s Top 5 Pics of the Week
It’s always hard to pick a favorite five when it comes to Sinful Sunday photos. Everyone has such a unique and beautiful perspective. In no particular order, here are the five photos that spoke to me the loudest.
I’m a total sucker for a deeply contrasted black and white photo and this beauty from My Wild Lens is no exception. I love the way the stockings and the t-shirt create a stripe of skin, with hair adding beautiful texture. And the hand on the hip gives the photo a little attitude that makes me smile
Molly never ceases to amaze me with her beautiful and fresh ideas for photos. The color saturation here is delightful and the way she’s created a panel of four at different distances is so dynamic. I feel like this is a still from an art house film that I definitely want to watch!
It’s rare that a photo punches me in the gut with want, but this amazing tentacle colorsplash from Missy did the trick. It’s so perfectly composed, the headboard in the background squaring up her hands, it feels very structured. But then you see the way the tentacle is stretching her out and filling her up and unfff, words fail.
Everything about this photo from Ash delights me to no end. The vibrant rainbows framed by creamy skin topped off with a glorious crown of flowing locks is perfect. The symmetry calls to mind religious iconography and I think, considering the wondrous celebration of Pride this photo is, that is completely right.
The sweet simplicity of Bee’s photo is what draws my eye to it over and over. You can almost feel the warmth and softness of their skin in the details of the gripping fingers, the light dusting of freckles and the pink flush.
Thanks for the honor of letting me doing the Sinful Sunday roundup this week, Molly!!
