Exposing 40’s Top 5 Pics of the Week
Thank you for having me back to the round-up again. My attendance on Sinful Sunday is a bit more sporadic than it has been in the past. But creativity has peaks and troughs and there are other things going on in my life that are taking my focus away from the blog. But I do intend to have a last burst of action in the two years till I turn 50, at which point I will (dis)gracefully retire the blog. While my creativity has a hiatus I do still enjoy seeing other people’s photographs. In no particular order (other than the order they were posted in last Sunday!) my choices are:
My Wild Lens
I have so much admiration for how MWL is coping with chronic illness and disability and how much she is still grasping at opportunities for joyful living. I love the framing of this shot with her smile in the top right and the angles looking down to the keyboard which bisects the image.
Victoria Blisse
Victoria bruise photos always deeply fascinate me. They are so rich and colourful and I wonder at how well she bruises and what they must feel like. But I must confess the bit I always love most about Victoria’s photos is how often we catch a glimpse of her contented smile. Her smiles and eye contact with the camera are always magic.
Happy Come Lucky
When I first saw this photo I thought Honey’s back was sunburnt (I have taken her photo when her back was this red from the sun!) but then I read the words. I know Sinful Sunday is “all about the image” but really this post is all about the words for me. Honey has such an incredible talent for writing her experiences in such a way that enable you to completely understand and imagine and feel her experiences.
I don’t have much to say here other than what a fucking hot story and a hot spunk-laden photo. Bravo!
Sexilicious Ash
There were three great tree photos connected to the Dendrophilia prompt an as tempting (and predictable) as it would have been to fill my round-up with trees I decided to pick just one. I chose Ash’s photo because it brought back so many happy memories of my own woodland fucks and the feeling of being pushed up against a tree. And I just LOVE how her dress, knickers and shoes seem to match!
