Sinful Sunday Weekly Round-up 593
Welcome to the weekly round-up 593. As always a little reminder for the monthly prompt. The first weekend in September will be here soon.
This week I am excited to welcome Raine to the round-up for the very first time. You can find Raine on her own blog Euphemise This and on Twitter @EuphemiseThis
Raine’s Top Pics of the Week
Firstly, thanks so much to Molly for asking me to do one of these round-up posts. I’ve yet to take up the #sinfulsunday challenge myself, but I’m constantly in awe of the wonderful images that you all share. I set myself a little task last year to make daily self portraits that feel erotic in some way and I quickly ran out of steam after about 5 days, so I’m amazed at the creativity that is shared via this project every single week. I do manage to make the occasional image to accompany my writing, so perhaps all I need is a prompt? And the inspiration that you’ve all provided me with here most certainly helps too!
So… on to my selections for this week. I’ve listed them in the order they were shared rather than an order of preference, purely because I can’t quite decide which I like best.
Modesty Ablaze
This one grabbed my attention straight away because the light is so very striking! I love how that bright beam traces every curve in an almost abstract way. As if the masterful Henri Matisse had looked at this scene, closed his eyes, and drawn her in a single perfect line. I also love how Modesty has lined up the light with her nipple exactly.
Quinn Rhodes
There’s a lot of wonderful text in this post but, as Sinful Sunday is about the image, I made my decision to include this one based purely on the image itself. I love how the top-down view and the mirror view show different things, even though the subject is clearly the same. I perfectly understood what this image was showing me even before I saw it was from Quinn, and before I read his text. It’s a record of a point in time which says “look how far I’ve come” and will allow him to do the same with even more clarity in the future.
Exposing 40
I’m not a summer person at all, so one of my favourite things when the sun comes out is some beautiful dappled shade. The way the light and shadows move and dance across everything beneath the tree is something I’m endlessly fascinated by. This image combines dappled shade with a beautiful bum (another of my favourite things!), and the sort of peaceful location that you can truly imagine yourself in just by looking at a photograph.
Victoria Blisse
Speaking of bum shots, this one adds in another of my favourite things; indented flesh. I adore an image that captures the way fingers or ropes dig into willing flesh and the marks that they leave behind. An action shot that perfectly captures the impact, with the ripples showing the force of the blow, is an even more rare and beautiful thing. I mean, it helps that I like getting hit with hard thuddy implements myself, so I’m rather envious of the fun that was had while making this image!
Exhibit A
With this one, I haven’t read the words at all. The image says everything I need it to say. The low angle, the way the light from the window and the darkness of the room helps his cock stand out (in the photographic sense as well as in the literal sense), the decisive grip, and the way his head is tipped back… this image is a dick pick masterclass.
