Sinful Sunday Weekly Round-up 439
October prompt is out now and you have just over 3 weeks to work on your images.
This week it is my pleasure to welcome J. Lynn to the round-up for the first time. You can find her on her own blog Rantings of a Nonsensical Mind and on Twitter @RantingsofaNM
J. Lynn’s Top 5 Pics of the Week
PurpleSole has done it again! Well really he does it every week but this image of littlegem in the milk bath is one that belongs in a gallery. The placement of flowers and the translucency of the milk draws you in. There were actually two images in this post and littlegem’s behind is beautifully displayed in the second image. I kept scrolling back to the first image though. It leaves something to the imagination and that makes me love it even more.
My Controlled Ascent
Kisungura is a wonderfully talented photographer and this image of light being refracted through rods is breathtaking. Pet was going through images (after I had made my choices) and he kept going back to this one as well. We totally nerded out over the discussion of refraction and how this image was possible.
BibulousOne had me quite excited to get back in the kitchen to bake. His placement of the bowl was perfection. This image caught my attention because I’m so very fond of a man knowing his way around the kitchen and of course, one that doesn’t mind getting a little messy.
I chose Exhibit A’s image because it was exactly like his title said.. playful. He had two images as well this week and both exhibited light-heartedness. I was literally laughing myself out of my chair seeing all the lovely bottoms so delicately supported by space hoppers. His solo image is what sold me- I would be one of the first in line for tickets if cabarets followed his style of dress (or lack thereof)!
No Pants Endurance
Last but definitely not least, NPE makes marathon training look like so much fun! Okay maybe it’s the detours and the delightful use of props that has me working up a sweat. I wish him all the luck in his recovery and for a great run in November, and maybe a few more detour photo ops along the way.
